How to Clarify Your Feelings

September 8, 2016 By stiruppurpose Leave a Comment

How to Clarify Your Feelings

What comes first, thoughts or feelings? It is noted that feelings follows thoughts; the thought process triggers different feelings in us. Bob Proctor says: “We use the word feeling to describe the conscious awareness of the vibration we’re in“.

Feelings is the Secret
Feeling is the Secret

It is important for us to take note of our thoughts because the feelings generated are creative whether positive or negative!

Neville says it nicely:

Every feeling makes a subconscious impression and unless it is counteracted by a more powerful feeling of an opposite nature must be expressed. The dominant of two feelings is the one expressed.

I am healthy is a stronger feeling than I will be healthy. To feel I will be is to confess I am not; I am, is stronger than I am not.

What you feel you are always dominates what you feel you would like to be; therefore, to be realized the wish must be felt as a state that is rather than a state that is not.

Sensation precedes manifestation and is the foundation upon which all manifestation rests.

Be careful of your moods and feelings, for there is an unbroken connection between your feelings and your visible world. Your body is an emotional filter and bears the unmistakable marks of your prevalent emotions.

Chapter 1: Law and Its Operation

Action Step

Make a conscious step to take note of your thoughts; if it generates a negative vibration ask yourself; what unlovely thoughts am I thinking? Then take action to reverse those negative thoughts to something loving and empowering.

Also never go to bed in anger or in a negative state of mind. Clear you mind by listening to a soothing music or something that puts you in a state of peace and tranquillity

Are Your Eyes too Pure to Behold Evil?

August 15, 2016 By stiruppurpose Leave a Comment

Are Your Eyes too Pure to Behold Evil?

Are Your Eyes too Pure to Behold Evil?
Are Your Eyes Pure?

A great Prophet once asked this question: Your eyes are too PURE to approve evil, and you cannot look on wickedness with favor. Why do you look with favor on those who deal treacherously? Why are you silent when the wicked swallow up those more righteous than they? Hab. 1:13.

I used to also ask that same question a long time ago but one day a wave of awareness came over me and this scripture passage flashed before my eyes:

I said, “You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High. Nevertheless you will die like men and fall like any one of the princes.

And after that, Shakespeare’s words rang in my ears:

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players; they have their exits and their entrances, and one man in his time plays many parts!

Yes, each one of us, on this journey of life, plays many parts. For me, I no longer bother myself about the behavior of another individual but have come to realize that life is all about opposites. Just as there cannot be an east without a west, I cannot be aware that I am awake if there is none that is asleep. I cannot perceive that I have understanding if the ignorant one does not exhibit his ignorance.

The Drama of Life

We all are creatures of “choices”! So what is our role in all this drama of life? I have found that my part is to “leave everyone I meet both physically and in my silent period – mind’s eye – imagination, when no one else is aware of what I am doing, with an IMPRESSION of INCREASE”.  To make a conscious effort, which might not be easy, not to behold the state of weakness exhibited by an individual but to lift the other up by beholding the true being that is breathing that person.

Because I AM the one feeling the state that I am contemplating; I set myself up to attract the good that I am wishing for the other person. Meanwhile, if the other person is in the right mindset the good thought will be awakened in the other. If not, then what I wish the other will return back on to me pressed down, shaken together and running over. Luke 10:5-6 says:

Whatever house you enter, begin by saying, ‘Peace to this house.’ If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.

For me, this passage is not only about when you go to a place physically; the very fact that you are having a dialogue with another in your mind you have already entered that person’s space. This is an infallible principle of life that keeps our world working with order and precision. Just like the boomerang – What goes around comes around!

Now over to you, my friend, what are you holding in your hand “HEART”. Your mental reaction about another person. Is it pure and holy? Would you wish it for yourself? If not, drop it! For as William Shakespeare said:

The fragrance of the rose lingers on the hand that casts it.

Every day of our life we should meditate on beauty, love and peace.

To your Purity!

Will Your Dream Happen? Two Determining Factors

July 31, 2016 By stiruppurpose 1 Comment

The Teller of Life

The Teller of Life
Put your Name

A middle-aged man walked into a bank.  He approached the teller and asked, “Will you cash this check?”

The teller looked at the check. “Well sure, I can cash the check. Just put your name on the back of it, hand it to me, and I will give you the money.”

The man stumbled back and said, “Whoa, wait a minute! I don’t want to put my name on the back of that check and hand it to you. You’ll be holding my check with my name on it and you might decide not to give me the money.”

“Well Sir, no,” the Teller said, “How it works is you have to put your name on the back of the check before I can give you the money. It’s a banking policy.”

“I understand that,” the man replied, “But I want you to understand how I feel.  It makes me very nervous to think that you’ll be holding my check and you might decide not to give me the money.”

“Sir, I will give you the money, but you have to go along with banking policy,” The teller said.

The man argued with the teller. Back and forth they went. Finally the frustrated teller replied, “I’m sorry. I am not going to be able to help you. You need to please leave.”

Angered, the man left.

He walked to another bank, went through the same routine, aggravating another teller, and again he was refused service.

The man traveled to a third bank.  Again, he refused to sign his name on the check before receiving his money from the bank.  Again, the man argued with the young teller, until finally the miffed teller reached the end of his rope. He reached under the teller’s cage, pulled out a rubber baseball bat, whacked the man on the head and commanded, ‘Sign the darn check!’

Stunned, the man looked at the teller.  The man then picked up the pen, signed the back of the check, and handed it over to the teller.  Cordially, the teller handed the man his money.

Money in hand, the man returned to the first bank, walked up to that first teller and he said, “Look! Down the street I got my money.”

“Yeah, but I bet even down the street you had to put your name on the back of that check before you got the money,” the Teller replied.

“Well yeah I did,” the man said, “But you see, no one ever quite explained it the way they did.”

Factor 1: Are You Harnessing The Law of Specificity?

We can have any life we want.  But Law of Specificity states that, to activate our dreams we must be clear about the life we’re designing.  It does us no good to write a check to Life that says, “Dear Life, I want a good life.  Please give me a happy life.”

Life does not know how to cash that check any more a builder knows how to build a “good house” or a “happy house”.

If you asked a contractor to build you a really happy house, the contractor would look at you and say, “You’ve got to tell me what you mean by happy house. You’ve got to describe it. You’ve got to give me a picture called a blueprint.”

Life is delighted to cash any check you wish.  Step one is deciding what you really want, and designing it with crystal clarity.

Factor 2: Will You Sign Your Name To It?

When building our dreams, we’ll often go to the teller of Life and ask, “Will you please give me what I want?

In essence, Life says ok, I’ll give you your dream.  But first put your name on the check.  Put your self–your whole self–into a vibrational match with what it is you say you want.  Commit to your dream.  Put your name to the dream and the doors of creation will open.

Many of us reply, “Whoa, whoa, whoa… Wait a minute! I don’t want to put my full self in. What if it doesn’t work out?  I want to know how it’s all going to be okay. I want to know where all the pieces are going to come from. I want to know exactly how it’s going to happen.  I want to have it, and then I’ll put my full self in. Then I’ll put my name to it.”

Every one of us has been given a sacred name. That name is “I am”.  Our sacred name, what we lay on the altar of “I am”– whether it’s I am “limited” or I am “free”, whether it’s I “can”, or I “can’t”– is shaped in the thinking chamber within us.

Every one of us lives in this divine Presence, Power, and Thinking Substance that shapes itself through our thinking.  When we sign our name to the life we want—thus getting in harmony with our dream– we send a magnetic signal to the Universe at which point a strange and magnificent thing begins to happen.

Through the harmonic Laws of Vibration and Attraction; resources, people, and circumstances begin to show up in our life fulfilling of the dream we’ve designed.  As sure as a teller will give you your money after you’ve signed the check, God will give you your dream, once you’ve put your name to it.

These Universal Laws, practices and principles help us awaken to who we really are and what we are capable of.  For some of us, it is far more than we have any idea.

The two questions are, what do you really WANT, and are you willing to sign your name to it?

Embracing Loss Leads to Success

Embracing Loss Leads to Success

Sharing a great post from Bob Proctor! He mentions that the difference between success and failure is very slight and as thin as the “The Razor’s Edge”. You just can’t get enough of this guy. Bob puts across powerful concepts in a simple and uncomplicated manner and that is why I like him. Enjoy!

http://stirupyourpurpose.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Bob-Success-and-Failure.mp4

In this video, I explain that most people don’t understand the subtle difference between success and failure. They think they are two sides of a coin.

Now let’s take this misunderstanding of the relationship between success and failure one step further—being afraid to fail.

You see, many people are so afraid of failing or losing that they never make any big moves. They don’t understand that failure or loss often play an important role in success and fulfillment.

By and large, given the choice, most people would rather not lose something than gain something.

However, if you’re not prepared to lose, you’ll always play it safe. And there’s no reward in that because you’ll never discover what you are capable of.

You won’t achieve a worthy goal by playing it safe

Is there a job, an idea, or a business you would like to go after but you’re holding back because you’re afraid of failing or what you might lose?

Yes, it can be a frightening proposition to walk into the unknown. And it could lead to a loss—money, time, etc.

But think about this: The choice to play small could involve much greater losses. Loss of confidence, growth, and unforeseen opportunities. And think about how those losses might be compounded one, five, and ten years down the road.

Are you really willing to live with that?

Adopt a new perspective

Instead of thinking of a setback as a failure, take control of your paradigm by changing your perspective. Start thinking of failures as temporary defeats.

Think about it.

As I mentioned in the video, when you think you’ve failed at something, it puts your mind and body in a terrible vibration. However, if you look at it as a temporary defeat, it can be a blessing in disguise.

Temporary defeats tend to bring us up with a jerk and cause us to redirect our energies along a different path. They are nature’s way of strengthening us and giving us the courage necessary to reach our goals.

There are many paths that lead to where you want to go. Take a step and if it doesn’t work, look at it as a temporary defeat. Then, choose another path.

As with anything, viewing a temporary defeat as a blessing in disguise is much easier said than done. However, keep the following three points in mind to help you garner the courage to stay the course and obtain the success you desire:

  1. No one ever got up from the knockout blow of defeat without being stronger and wiser from the experience.
  2. Advancement of all kinds is generally preceded by a crisis. The greater the crisis, the greater the opportunity for advancement.
  3. There is no problem outside of you that is superior to the power that is within you.

Accept that failure and loss are unavoidable if you want to succeed in life. Embrace each setback with the understanding that the key to winning is to keep getting up and moving forward until you reach your goal.

To your success,

Bob Proctor
